Position of Cam Stack

The cam stack determines the stitches performed by the sewing machine. Its ridges and valleys cause the cam follower lever to move back and forth. This motion is transferred to the needle bar to produce stitches. Some cam stacks are mounted vertically, while others are mounted horizontally.
