Fix Sewing Machines Institute

Professional Instruction and Support For
All Brand Sewing Machine Repair.

In 2002, the Temple Sewing And Supply company began providing apprentice styled training for mechanics from other dealers in Austin.

In 2004-2006, the initial beginnings of a formal curriculum began with Correspondence Institute through FixSewingMachines.Com.

Live hands-on classes opened as Fix Sewing Machines Institute in 2012.

Over 2,000 Students from 40 different states and 10 foreign countries have learned sewing machine repair through the combination of

Correspondence Institute and Live Hands-On Fix Sewing Machine Institutes.

Twenty five percent of students attending the live institute are sent by their employers (factories or companies) to be trained as
sewing machine mechanics.

Twenty percent are sewing enthusiasts who want to service their own machines.

Forty percent are entrepreneurs wanting to build their own profitable sewing machine repair business.

The remaining fifteen percent include those training missionaries training for service, those working for other sewing machine dealers, experienced mechanics seeking to fine tune their skills, and others.

The institute is more than a training business,

it provides essential support for Castle Christian Ministries;

a non-profit service organization providing religious services,

instruction, and care for those in need.

Primarily, the organization and its volunteers provide assistance with meals, travel, medical transportation, and personal support for seniors.

Providing practical help makes Castle Christian a unique ministry.

Fix Sewing Machines was established out of a

true need for well trained sewing machine mechanics.
