Certified Technician

When you attend a training with any sewing machine company, you receive a certificate of completion indicating what machine you worked on. This is not certification. The dealer is authorized and certifies any technician serving that dealership as long as the technician is employed by that dealership. If a technician leaves, they may be able to service machines, but are not certified by manufacturer, ie

. Singer, Brother, Bernina, etc. Hence, there really are no branded certified technicians. At Fix Sewing Machines Institute, we certify our graduates for "all brand sewing machine repair". This certification shows that the student has completed our training program, and has the basic knowledge to service sewing machines in general.
