The Same After 172 years

Sewing machines have not changed in  172 years.

The basic lock-stitch invented in 1846 has largely remained the same to this very day. Bells and whistles have been added. The designs are sleeker and more efficient. Understanding the basics relieves lots of stress as you work one many different makes and models. By the time you have serviced a few machine, you will begin to feel your confidence growing and you fears abating.
